In order to strengthen its position in the Indian television market, Japanese consumer durable maker Sony today introduced a 65 inch LED TV, priced at Rs 3.6 lakh.

Sony India launches its biggest screen size 65 (165cms) HX925 LED TV in the current line-up of Bravia.The newly introduced product will come along with a skype camera and two pairs of 3D glasses.It is available at all Sony Centers and other major electronic outlets across India,” the statement said.

Sony is among the top players in the Indian television market along with the likes of Korean majors Samsung and LG.

Sony’s televisions, which are sold under the Bravia brand, are the biggest revenue generator for the company in India, contributing about 35 per cent to its overall sales that stood at Rs 5,500 crore in last fiscal.

Sony India had said it expected the Indian operations to contribute about 10 per cent of its overall global turnover, up from the current 5 per cent, by 2015. In the fiscal ended March 31, 2011, Sony Corporation had posted revenue of USD 86.521 billion

The ‘Triple Protection’ benefit of Samsung Air conditioners entails Clean Air, Uninterrupted Comfort and Powerful cooling based on features such as Virus DoctorTM, Full HD Filter, UTR Plus Compressor, Turbo Cooling and Stabilizer Free operations. While Samsung’s VirusDoctorTM with SPI (S-Plasma ion) technology provides Clean Air by eliminating more than 99.99% of harmful micro organisms including SARS and H1N1 to guarantee contamination-free indoor air, the built in stabilizer in the Samsung Air conditioner regulates voltage (from 135V to 290V) during power surges and outages to keep the Samsung AC working fine all the time.
