Cooking Range Maintenance Guide









If you want your cooking range to have your never-say die spirit, you have got to give it an occasional scrub or replace its moribund components.

What you need to do:
Tip 1: Cooking is an everyday job, cleaning usually is not. A periodical poking of burner ports with a needle will ensure it works smoothly.

Tip 2: Never poke the ignite; worse still, never spray it with an oven cleaner.

Tip 3: In case you're cooking for a large number of people, for which using big pots or pans are necessary, make sure you don't use any force while placing them on the burner. This will prevent damage of the burners, and more importantly, chaos at the dinner table!

Tip 4: Never use aluminum foils to cover drip pans and bowls as it might result in a short circuit of the burner and damage it completely.

Tip 5: It is important to keep the reflector bowls placed underneath the burners clean and shiny as this in turn affects how efficiently they reflect the heat up to the pan or pot. When they take longer than usual to heat up, you know it's time to replace them.
